I’m planning to join BarCamp 2007 Hong kong, while it is good to hear that Yahoo Hong Kong supporting a community event, the first thing come to my mind is: Will anyone talk about Yahoo HK helping mainland China Government to prove the identity of Shi Tao, who is now serving 10 years prison because of sending 64 related news by Yahoo Email Account?
(Anyway, I don’t think we have to focus on Yahoo HK — Not only Yahoo or IT corporate, most business in this world forget about ethics when it affect their profit. Besides Yahoo, other IT corporates or multi-national business like Disney have their own “record of unethical activities”. The question is — ‘What can we do to force Corporates take up more social responsibility in capitalism society?”)

thanks for writing this up. i must say i felt uncomfortable to have the event held at Yahoo!HK for what it has done.
