Today morning I went to the Creative Commons Workshop organized (officially) by the HKU CEDAR.
In fact, I’m a bit nervous at the presentation since this is the first time I speak publicly in English, and I don’t really know what should I demonstrate …. (well, licensing under Creative Commons Licenses seems too easy and obvious, right?)
Surprisingly, I felt quite happy with this workshop since I found many of the participants are “new faces”, so I’m pretty sure that they learned about what Creative Commons is through the great talk given by Rebecca, Edmund and Jack Qiu.
After the workshop, I’ve got some university students come up and told me they are interested in joining the Intellectual Property Issues Watch! So now we’ve got 5 new people and I’m looking forward to organize the next meet-up
Really happy to meet some new/old friends here too! I really want to meet with and talk to the legal team working on localizing creative commons licenses, I really appreciate their work, unfortunately I didn’t have the chance today…
Anyway, here are some photo by me, and a pretty ladies took some great photo too. (I know, my photo cannot compare with …. alright!)
