Internet Explorer 8 and Acid 2, finally.

Pop Music Symposium by Lingnan University.

Mini Choi (DJ of Commercial Radio 2) suggests that Web 2.0 and Long-tail can solve this problem, as good music can be shared by individuals and records labels cannot continue their monopolize in the market in this digital age. I agreed that there is opportunities but obviously it is still quite far away from reality — it seems Internet is still not playing major role as a media, compare with Radio, TV and other mainstream media as they are still the main way people learn about new music.

The protest in CUHK graduation ceremony

There was a protest against Chinese University’s decision to honor former Chief Executive Tung Chi-wah. Sadly I wasn’t there, partly because I’m too busy recently. I think the meaning of this protest is not only anti-Tung but anti-School’s mistakes in recently year.

Apple’s sub-notebook confirmed at Macworld in Jan 2008?

From AppleInsider , in a broadcast on CNBC, it was reported that a unnamed source confirmed that there will be a sub-notebook at Macworld in January, and a 3G iPhone by June.

The new sub-notebook is 50 percent thinner than the current MacBook Pro and use flash memory instead of hard drive.
